The PSPH project, funded by SDC and implemented by the Somali Research and Development Institute (SORDI) and DT Global, recently organized a sports injury healthcare event. This initiative aimed to support Kaafi Hospital and launch a campaign focused on sport injuries.
The event brought together over 100 participants from diverse sectors, including the Somali Football Federation, football clubs, the Ministry of Youth and Sport, hospitals, and various health professional associations.
This successful gathering united stakeholders from both the sports and healthcare sectors, demonstrating a strong commitment to improving athletic healthcare in Somalia. The Somalia Football Federation and the Ministry of Sport expressed their appreciation for the support provided to Somali sports teams dealing with injuries.
