Wadaag Insurance Launch Event

On 3 February 2024, Wadaag Insurance hosted a launch event for its Taakulo and Daryeele healthcare insurance products, attended by key stakeholders including SORDI, in its role as a Private Sector Partnerships in Health (PSPH) partner. The event featured a presentation on healthcare access and insurance, with Wadaag CEO Sulaiman Egeh outlining the new plans' benefits and coverage. A panel discussion involving representatives from government, insurance, the private sector, and NGOs explored approaches to improving healthcare affordability. SORDI shared its role in supporting private-sector health initiatives such as this launch, reflecting the organisation's broader commitment to strengthening equitable, accessible healthcare financing in Somalia.
